The POL team in San Diego would like to say a big thank you for your continued support for the children and families in our pediatric HIV care program in Zambia. Over the last two years, this program has grown, matured, and continues to provide lifesaving health care services to 350 HIV+ children and their families in Zambia.
Your generosity is helping provide a safe and learning environment for orphans and vulnerable children from Matero – a community that is characterized with a high incidence of HIV, TB and malaria.

Family members of children enrolled are provided with training in caring for an HIV+ child, and education in HIV prevention. This leads to an improvement in the health of the children, prevention of HIV, and reduction in stigma associated with HIV.
