June 2021 - Our Zambian Family Is Growing
Dear friend: Happy Summer!
Dear friend: Happy Summer!
Dear friend: As Mother's day draws near, we are thinking of mothers and aunts in Africa who cannot afford food, medicines, and rent for their families and school expenses for their children. Most women in these communities lack marketable skills and have no regular source of income. COVID, last year, aggravated the situation.
Dear friend: Hope you have received the COVID vaccine or have a date to do so. In Zambia, as everywhere else, COVID has had a large negative impact on vulnerable families.
Dear Power of Love Friend: Happy March! In Zambia, transmission rates for malaria are high throughout the country. To keep vulnerable families malaria free, 3,000 insecticide treated nets were provided in rural and urban areas in Zambia. Nets provision was preceded by a demonstration and education session, and all activities were completed in a safe manner.
