December 2015 - You are helping First Time Women Entrepreneurs

Dear Friend: Happy holidays from Power of Love's women entrepreneurs! With your support, 272 new women entrepreneurs are running successful businesses in Zambia.Earnings from their businesses, enable these women to provide 2-3 meals per day for their families, purchase basic household items, and pay for school expenses. In addition, most of the women are saving a small amount each week, and are optimistic about the future.
The businesses our women entrepreneurs have started through microloans have created value for their families and communities. For example, Daisy (picture on left) used her loan funds to rent a sewing machine, which she uses to stitch sheets and clothing items that help pay for school expenses for her three young children. Claire (lady on the right) started a charcoal business to help pay for medical expenses for her son with cancer. Your caring and support for these new entrepreneurs goes a long way in keeping their children healthy and in school.
Please donate generously to empower these women entrepreneurs and help provide loans for new women entrepreneurs. A single donation of $50 will provide business training, and $150 will provide a new loan. And as always, 100% of your donations go toward POL programs and no part is used for overheads.
