Dear Friend: Happy February! Today we would like you to meet two women who have had to overcome difficult circumstances and work very hard to begin to become economically and socially empowered. Rosemary (picture on the left) used her loan funds to purchase a cooler so that she could sell cold sodas and water at a busy traffic intersection. Diane (picture on the right) used her loan funds to rent a sewing machine to make beautiful chair covers for weddings.    

Earnings from their businesses, enable women like Rosemary and Diane provide 2-3 meals per day for their families, purchase basic household items, and pay for school expenses. In addition, they are saving a small amount each week, and are optimistic about their future. Your caring and support for these new entrepreneurs goes a long way in keeping their children healthy and in school. 

Please donate generously to empower women entrepreneurs and help provide business training and loans for new women entrepreneurs. A single donation of $50 will provide business training, and $150 will provide a new loan. And as always, 100% of your donations go toward programs and no part is used for overheads.
