September 2015 eNews - POL Entrepreneur Featured on UN Women's Website
Dear Power of Love friend,
Power of Love's microloans program has grown significantly over the past few years, and we're proud to say that our women entrepreneurs continue to be an inspiration to us.
These new entrepreneurs have transformed their lives. Despite beginning with very few resources, they are all planning for a brighter future as they grow their businesses. More often than not, a brighter future includes the ability to send their children or grandchildren to school.
One such entrepreneur is Agness: her story was published at the UN Women's website. Agness isn't just an inspiration for us at POL; she is role model for hundreds of women in Zambia and around the world. Her first business was a modest fruit and vegetable stand and today her store has a refrigerator and a freezer to store meat and cold drinks for her customers. In addition, her store, carries several high-value items like light fixtures and hair styling accessories as well.
Please donate generously to help women entrepreneurs better provide for their families, pay for school expenses and become self-reliant. A donation of $50.00 will provide business training, and $150 will provide a new loan. As always, 100% of your donations go towards POL programs and no part is used for overheads.
