Chelsea Christensen

Chelsea was the interactive project manager at Bozell, an advertising agency out of Omaha, NE, where she was previously interned as a social media coordinator. After graduating in May 2012 magna cum laude from Creighton University in Omaha, NE with a degree in Marketing, she spent the Summer and Fall 2012 volunteering in Lusaka, Zambia with her brother Hans as a social media intern at the Power of Love.
As an intern, Chelsea created a social media strategy for the organization, as well as wrote several blog posts for the website. While volunteering, she documented the Power of Love’s work in Zambia with photography and video, which is being used for the ongoing Living Positive campaign. One of her photographs was chosen as a finalist representing the Power of Love Foundation in the Global Giving photo contest.
While an undergrad student, Chelsea volunteered with a variety of different organizations including the Siena/Francis homeless shelter, Habitat for Humanity, Adult ESL, and the Mason Apartments Homework Club. She also spent a semester at New York University studying Media, Politics, and Public Life. She hopes to continue to pursue her love of travel and world relations in the coming years.
