Dear Power of Love Friend: Hope your summer is going well. Your support for our malaria prevention program, helped provide 2000 mosquito bed nets,  and education on malaria prevention to families vulnerable to malaria in Zambia. Provision of insecticide treated nets continues to reduce the incidence of malaria in our community and keeps thousands of children healthy, and in school.

Malaria is both preventable and curable; and yet this disease continues to take the lives of 800 children every day in Africa. Our goal is to eliminate malaria deaths to zero. Malaria has been eradicated in the US and it can be eradicated in Africa too. 

For 2017, our plan is to provide 5000 insecticide-treated nets to benefit 20,000 young children or 10,000 adults. Your donation of $10 will provide two nets that can prevent malaria for a family of two adults and four young children. Every dollar counts and helps keep children healthy. As always, 100% of your donations go towards programs and no part is used for overheads.
