Looking back, 2024 was a year that made the communities we serve stronger and better equipped to navigate problems in the areas of health, education and income generation. All children enrolled in our pediatric HIV care program improved in health and all school age children are attending school. In addition, last September we launched a program for children that teaches them computer skills.

Strengthening Communities: In 2024, we reached 15,000 families with our malaria prevention initiative, providing them with education and tools to fight this disease.

Power of Love’s “Safe Park” program provides a safe and fun environment for children living in slum neighborhoods to play, learn, and interact with peers. More than 700 children are enrolled. They enjoy playing Zambian games and learning through workshops led by older children and health educators.
