Dear Power of Love Friend: We hope you are having a wonderful and relaxing summer! We know that you will be thrilled to hear that over the last five years 100% of children born to HIV+ moms in our PMTCT (prevention of mother to child transmission) program were born HIV free. Simply put, we've beaten the odds by a long shot! Ben, now a healthy four year old, was born HIV free and continues to maintain his HIV negative status. His mom, who is HIV+ herself, shared that she did not know that she could deliver a child free of HIV and is thrilled that her younger son is HIV free. 

In addition, women in the the  PMTCT group are equipped with better knowledge about HIV prevention and have been instrumental in encouraging others to go in for testing and treatment for HIV.  

Please donate generously so we can continue to prevent new HIV infections, care for HIV+ children, and train family members in HIV prevention. Every dollar helps strengthen the community. And, as always, 100% of your donations go towards programs and no part is used for overheads.
