September 2016 - Meet an Amazing Young Lady

Dear Power of Love Friend: Happy September! Today we want you to meet an amazing young lady. Her name is Hayley Smalley and for her Senior Project, she decided to raise funds to prevent malaria in Zambia. To keep Zambian children malaria free, Hayley organized several events in Columbus, IN including a soup dinner at her Church. Invitees braved a big snowstorm last spring, to attend the soup dinner. The dinner was a success and as a result of Hayley's dedication, more than 600 young children will be able to sleep under an insecticide treated net and stay malaria free.

Hayley worked with our partner, Granny Connection, based in Columbus, IN. For the past eight years, members of the Granny Connection have worked tirelessly to help grandmothers in Africa who are raising children orphaned by AIDS. We would like to say a BIG Thank You to Hayley and the Granny Connection for their dedication to prevent malaria. And our best wishes to Hayley as she heads to college this fall.

Please donate generously so that we can, continue to keep children healthy and malaria free in Zambia. Every dollar counts. And, as always, 100% of your donations go towards programs and no part is used for overheads.
