Malaria Prevention Efforts in 2019
Who attends "Safe Park"?
Dear Power of Love Friend: Happy June! Last month, we held a malaria prevention event in our community. Malaria is still a public health challenge in Zambia as it is endemic across all ten provinces and more than 16 million or 88% of the population is at risk. The event was attended by representatives from churches, community organizations, government health clinics, and residents.
Dear Friend: Today we have a special piece of information to share. Power of Love and internationally renowned Flutist Sri Raman Kalyan, have collaborated to create soul enriching music. Sri Raman Kalyan generously donated worldwide distribution rights of this music to POL.
Dear Power of Love Friend: Happy March! We work closely with our partner organization, Jagruthi, that provides high quality health care and education to several hundred vulnerable children of sex workers.
Dear Power of Love Friend: Happy February!
Dear Power of Love Friend: Happy new year! Here is a wonderful piece of news to kick start 2019; people living with HIV may never develop AIDS. Researchers have found pathways to permanently suppress HIV infections, said Benni E. Vargas, at the University of Pittsburgh, School of Medicine.
