As a result of the generosity and caring of donors such as you, we were able to add 50 HIV+ children to our pediatric HIV care program in March 2016. With the addition of these 50 children, we now have a total of 300 HIV+ children; every one of these 300 children will receive food, medicines and a package of life saving health care services till they turn 18 years of age.

Achievements of our women entrepreneurs in 2015
Power of Love’s micro loans program is located in a community where most residents live on less than a dollar a day. The direct beneficiaries of this program are women (many are grandmothers caring for multiple orphaned grandchildren) and children as they have been disproportionately impacted by the HIV and AIDS epidemic in Africa.
Impact of Project Mosquito Net in 2015
Thanks again for supporting Power of Love’s Malaria Prevention Program in Zambia. As a result of your generosity we were able to provide 2000 long lasting insecticide treated bed nets and education on malaria prevention to children and families vulnerable to malaria last June. Your ongoing support has helped keep children malaria free, healthy, and in school.
Impact of "Safe Parks" on Children's Health and Wellbeing
Power of Love's "Safe Park" program is located in Matero, one of the largest and poorest compounds in Lusaka, Zambia. The compound has a population of around 275,000, an unemployment rate upwards of 60%, and an exceedingly high incidence of HIV and malaria. Most residents live on less than a dollar a day.
Malaria Prevention Day 2015
Power of Love’s malaria prevention program, Project Mosquito Nets, provides long lasting insecticide treated nets and education on malaria prevention to children and families vulnerable to the disease in Zambia. The goal of this program is to keep vulnerable children and families malaria-free.
Impact of POL's Microloan Program in 2014
Power of Love’s (POL) microloans program empowers women impacted by HIV and AIDS to take their first steps toward self-reliance. By learning basic business practices, our new women entrepreneurs are better equipped to run small businesses and are therefore able to take better care of their families. The POL program is located in the community of Matero, in Lusaka, Zambia.
Adding 50 New Children to Pediatric HIV Program
As a result of your generosity and support, we will be adding 50 HIV positive children to our pediatric HIV care program this month. The children have been identified and will be receiving food, medicine, and a package of life saving health care services until they turn eighteen.
A Young Star - Penny
In 2014, we added a new element to our pediatric HIV care program. This new program is called “Young Stars”. The goal of this program is to help a vulnerable child stay healthy and achieve his/her dream of enrolling in an University after high school. The program is designed to help the child graduate middle school and high school and possibly enroll at the University.
