Dear Friend: Greetings! Hope you are having a wonderful summer! As you know, the ongoing pandemic has made life more difficult for vulnerable communities globally. More families face food insecurity due to the impact of COVID and other factors such as climate change and conflict.

Dear friend: Happy July! Our experience over the last 15 years has shown that two things – access to credit and business training – are needed to help ensure that women are able to start and grow their personal businesses. Earnings from businesses help pay for food, medicines, rent, and school expenses. Healthy and educated children, in turn, educate the next generation.

Dear friend: As Mother's day draws near, we are thinking of mothers and aunts in Africa who cannot afford food, medicines, and rent for their families and school expenses for their children. Most women in these communities lack marketable skills and have no regular source of income. COVID, last year, aggravated the situation.

Dear Friend: Happy holidays! Looking back 2020 has been a tough year.

Dear Friend: Happy World AIDS Day! Every year, December 1 is designated to support adults and children living with HIV, and to pledge to continue the fight against HIV and AIDS. We believe that together we can end AIDS. In Zambia, only 59% of all people living with HIV have undetectable viral loads; this number must be increased to 75% for the epidemic to end.
